Delete your Yebby account

Deleting your account removes it permanently, straight away.

In the app

Open Yebby → Me → scroll down → Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm.

On WhatsApp, without the app

If you vouched on WhatsApp, or no longer have the app, WhatsApp 060 000 0000 from your number with the message DELETE MY ACCOUNT, then reply CONFIRM DELETE.

By email

Email privacy@yebby.co.za from any address, with the phone number on your account. We'll confirm the number is yours on WhatsApp and delete the account within 30 days.

What's deleted

• Your profile, name and phone number
• Your vouches, lists, Asks, replies and photos
• Your circles, follows and matched contacts

What stays

• Businesses you added or claimed stay listed, because they belong to the provider. A listing you claimed goes back to unclaimed.
• A provider keeps the record of a past booking with you, without your name, number or note.
• Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days.
